TOUGH CONDITIONS FOR SAISA LC- NORTH POINTS #2
RESULTS

The regatta took place in Midway Georgia / Sunbury. Racing was planned to take place on the waters adjacent to the Sunbury Crab Company. The day began with very glassy conditions and a postponement was sounded at 9:00am. At 11:05 the postponement was lifted as a very light Southwest breeze was developing in the Medway River. Teams were transported to the public ramp to rig and launch boats. A division had two or three starts with races abandoned before they completed two successful light wind races. B division was transported to the open water sight by boat and the transfer took place on the water. 10 Races were competed in all. Conditions improved as the day went on. All rotations took place on the water with sailors transported back to the Sunbury Crab Company Dock. The last B division race was competed just prior to 5 pm. Thank you to all the competitors for being so patient with tough conditions. Rotations on the water went very well.
